

What is Airsoft?
Airsoft is a recreational activity in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non-metallic pellets launched via replica firearms. Game play varies in style and composition ranging from fast games such as capture the flag through to organised scenarios, campaigns through to military simulation events which typically last between 12 or 48 hrs in duration allowing participants to immerse them selves in a totally different gaming experience. Regular Airsoft participants will often use common military tactics to achieve objectives set in each game bringing the game to a higher level. Regular participants will often tailor there equipment either to their personal preference, or to replicate a specific military units either real or fictional, past and present.
What is Romeo 6 Airsoft?
R6 Airsoft is a team dedicated to bringing airsoft gaming to a higher level with proper use of tactics, teamwork and communications as well as modification or creation of equipment which offer a tactical advantage. The Motto; "He who stands with me shall be my brother" epitomises the teams approach. While R6 membership is restricted to few, we will always fight along side other teams and lone skirmishers alike who are on our side during bigger game days offering communications, and other skills to motivate our team to victory. After the game is over, we will always be up for a bit of banter which ever side your on!
R6 Airsoft pride's itself on maintaining the honour and integrity of airsoft, and as such take non hit taking very seriously. Cheating within the team will not be tolerated whether this be non hit taking or disobeying or 'Bending' the rules of play.
Can I Join Romeo 6 Airsoft Team?
R6 Airsoft will always welcome any interested new members wishing to join. Anyone interested to join R6 Airsoft team may email us at INFO@R6Airsoft.co.uk for more information or to express their interest in joining. Spaces within R6 Airsoft are limited purposely to insure that numbers can be managed and standard maintained and as such there may not always be a space available. However as the team grows and becomes more established, further teams and spaces will become available. R6 team members are constantly looking for players who will fit in with the team and as such may approach individual players on skirmish days to offer them an invitation to join.
All new team members will be required to attend one or more trial days with the rest of R6 Airsoft team to allow a decision to be made. Following a successful vote by the remaining players, the new team member will be on a probationary period to allow them to play within the team but without the need to buy all the required team kit, and to determine if they wish to remain part of the team. After this probationary period and when the new member has become a full member of R6 Airsoft, they will be given their patches and be required to purchase the required team kit .
R6 Airsoft Team members will also be required to up hold the teams Code of Conduct which can be found by clicking "HERE" the teams Code of Conduct outlines what is expected of ALL R6 Airsoft team members regardless of when they joined. Any R6 Airsoft member who is found to be in breach of the Code of Conduct will come under scrutiny by R6 Airsoft and may face sanctions or ejection from the team.
R6 Airsoft pride themselves on maintaining and improving the honour and integrity of Airsoft and as such will be required to be suitable ambassadors of the team and of Airsoft as a whole.
Any team member found to be breaching this code of conduct (regardless of length of time within the team) will come under scrutiny and maybe ejected from the team. The Team Code of Conduct can be found on this website along the top navigation bar or by clicking "HERE".
Who is in Charge of Romeo 6 Airsoft Team?
Romeo 6 Airsoft Team does not try to have a command structure and as such all decisions for events, team equipment, etc are generally decided in diplomatic style with all members both new and old having equal say in decisions. If there are eventualities which either result in a tie or need a definitive decision, the founding members of the team will have the final vote to make a decision. This process is also the case for new members wishing to join the team, and any matters where members have broken the code of conduct. If any member (founder or not) is scrutinised due to a breach of the Code of Conduct, they will be allowed to defend themselves or explain their actions but will not be allowed to vote and the decision will be made by the remainder of the team.
